Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using EmployeeGM ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms apply to individual users accessing the Service through their employer's enterprise subscription. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

EmployeeGM is an enterprise software platform that provides AI-powered professional development through personalized Game Master coaching, skill trees, role adventure paths, task clarity rituals, and growth quests. The Service is designed to enhance employee engagement, skill development, and career progression within organizations.

3. Enterprise Subscription

Access to EmployeeGM is provided through enterprise subscriptions:

  • Your organization is the contracting party for the Service
  • Your access is subject to your organization's subscription terms
  • Your organization's administrators may configure features and access levels
  • Your access may be modified or terminated by your organization

4. User Accounts

  • Accounts are typically provisioned by your organization's IT department
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must notify your IT administrator immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Account sharing is prohibited; each user must have their own account
  • Your account is tied to your employment and may be deactivated upon separation

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use EmployeeGM only for legitimate professional development purposes. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of company policies
  • Attempt to manipulate AI coaching responses or game mechanics
  • Share confidential coaching conversations outside the platform
  • Falsify skill assessments, quest completions, or achievements
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data
  • Use the Service to harass or discriminate against colleagues
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
  • Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the Service

6. AI Coaching Features

EmployeeGM uses artificial intelligence to provide personalized coaching and guidance:

  • AI coaching is for professional development support, not employment decisions
  • AI recommendations are suggestions, not mandates from your employer
  • The AI may not always provide accurate or complete information
  • AI coaching does not replace human managers, mentors, or HR guidance
  • Critical career decisions should be discussed with appropriate human advisors

7. Content and Intellectual Property

7.1 Platform Content

All platform content, including skill frameworks, quest designs, and coaching methodologies, is owned by Crateso or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.

7.2 User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of original content you create (reflections, goals, notes). You grant us a limited license to process this content as necessary to provide the Service.

7.3 Organization Content

Your organization retains ownership of customized role frameworks, skill definitions, and organizational content they configure within the platform.

8. Data and Privacy

  • Data collection and use are governed by our Privacy Policy
  • Your organization may have access to aggregate usage data and completion metrics
  • Individual AI coaching conversations remain private unless you choose to share
  • Data handling is subject to your organization's data policies

9. Service Availability

  • We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access
  • Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible
  • Features may be updated, modified, or deprecated with reasonable notice
  • Enterprise SLAs are defined in your organization's service agreement

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. EMPLOYEEGM:

  • Does not guarantee career advancement or skill improvement
  • Is not a substitute for professional training, coaching, or therapy
  • Should not be used as the sole basis for employment decisions
  • May contain errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated content

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crateso shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. This includes but is not limited to lost opportunities, career impacts, or decisions made based on AI coaching.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Crateso from any claims arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.

13. Termination

  • Your access may be terminated by your organization at any time
  • We may suspend access for violation of these Terms
  • Upon termination, your data will be handled per our Privacy Policy
  • You may request export of your personal data before account closure

14. Dispute Resolution

Disputes between individual users and Crateso shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law. Enterprise-level disputes are governed by your organization's service agreement.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless otherwise specified in your organization's enterprise agreement.

16. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated to your organization, who will notify affected users. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
