Account & Profile

How do I change my heat level?

Go to Mirror → Build tab → Heat Level. You can adjust this anytime. Note that changing your heat level may affect which matches see your profile.

Can I redo The Interview?

You can update individual sections in Mirror → Build, but you cannot restart The Interview from scratch. If you need a complete reset, you'll need to create a new account.

How do I pause my account?

Mirror → Settings → Account → Pause Account. Your profile becomes invisible, but all your data and connections are preserved.

Why can't I see certain profiles?

Vespara uses your hard limits and preferences to filter incompatible matches. You won't see profiles that conflict with your stated boundaries, and vice versa.

The Hub Modules

What do the pipeline stages in Nest mean?

Stages help you track connection progress:

  • New: Just matched, no conversation yet
  • Chatting: Active conversation
  • Planning: Scheduling a meetup
  • Met: Had at least one in-person meeting
  • Connected: Ongoing relationship of some kind
  • Archived: Inactive but not deleted

How does the Resuscitator work?

The AI analyzes stale conversations and generates 3 potential messages to restart dialogue. It considers your shared interests, previous conversation topics, and timing.

Can the Strategist see my messages?

The Strategist can access your message history to provide personalized advice. However, this data is never stored after your session ends and is not shared with third parties.

TAGS Games

What happens if my partner and I disagree on consent level?

The game will not start until both players agree on the same level. The lower consent level always takes precedence for safety.

Can I save or screenshot game sessions?

No. Screenshotting or recording game sessions violates our Terms of Service and can result in account termination.

What if I want to stop during a game?

Tap the pause or exit button at any time. No explanation is required, and your partner will be notified that the session has ended.

Safety & Privacy

How does Vouch Chain verification work?

When you meet someone in person and they seem genuine, you can vouch for them. This creates a trust network — users with more vouches are more visible and trusted.

What happens when I report someone?

Our Safety Team reviews all reports within 24 hours. Serious violations (harassment, consent violations) result in immediate suspension pending investigation.

Is my location shared in Tonight Mode?

Only the venue name is shared, not your exact coordinates. Tonight Mode is always opt-in and can be disabled instantly.

How do I delete my account completely?

See our Data Deletion page for instructions on permanent account removal.

Technical Issues

The app keeps crashing

Try these steps:

  1. Force close and reopen the app
  2. Check for app updates
  3. Clear app cache (Settings → Apps → Vespara → Clear Cache)
  4. Reinstall the app (your data is saved in the cloud)

I'm not receiving notifications

Check Mirror → Settings → Notifications. Also verify your device's notification permissions for Vespara in your phone settings.

Photos aren't uploading

Ensure photos are under 10MB and in JPG, PNG, or HEIC format. If issues persist, check your internet connection and try again.
